Roméo Essou is the Vice-President and Chief Programs Officer. A 2015 Mandela Washington Fellow, Roméo is a certified Public Management young leader from the University of Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, USA. He has established records of accomplishment in promoting positive impacts through the senior management positions he held over the past decade with international organizations including Plan International, Right To Play, Keeping Children Safe Coalition and AIMS-NEI.
As Vice-President and Chief Programs Officer, Roméo is responsible for program strategic leadership and management. His portfolio also includes fundraising, knowledge management, and donor relationship management.
Romeo holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Abomey-Calavi, Benin. He is currently pursuing an Executive Master’s of Business Administration from McGill Desautels Faculty of Management, Montreal, Canada.
