Project Description :

This was one of the original set of suggested M.Sc. thesis topics.  We should clarify whether it would be potential, actual or reference ET.

  • Review the most promising evapotranspiration approach (Penman Montheith, Hargreaves, SEBAL, SEBS etc…)
  • Construct dataset for station with Pan Evaporation data (Solar radiation from remote sensing, Temperature from maprooms…)
  • Assess the different scenarios of evapotranspiration scenario (combination of approach with types of data…) vs Pan evapotranspiration data using time series analysis and goodness of fit performance criteria.

Applications for this internship should be submitted via the online application system, stating clearly the title of the internship.
