Comparison of different merging approaches for rainfall and temperature using CDT.

 Supervisors: Dr. Desire M. Kagabo (Ph.D), Scientist, Climate Services for Agriculture, CIAT (The research team from CIAT or CCAFS, IRI, University of Reading working with the Rwanda Climate Services for Agriculture Project will be available to supervise the interns).

Project Description :

The Climate Data Tools (CDT) allows different merging approaches including selections of different merging parameters. This work will explore different merging methods and parameters, including the method/parameter used for generating the current version of Meteo Rwanda’s merged rainfall and temperature data, in order to select the best approach for Rwanda.
